The Price Of Freedom Museum

Welcome to the Price of Freedom Museum Inc.

The Price of Freedom Museum Inc. is located on the second floor in Finland House. The museum introduces to the visitors the story of Finland fighting for its freedom during the second world war. The museum has on display an extensive collection of Finnish war artifacts, such as armaments, cloths, medals, documents, literature, photos and films.
Primary purpose of the collection is to emphasize to all visitors, American as well as Finnish people of all ages, that freedom was not granted to Finland. During the wartime, the entire nation was fighting tirelessly to maintain the independence of Finland. Finland has not forgotten the help and support received from United States after the war.
Our mission is to emphasize the importance of friendly relationships between nations, on both political and individual levels. Finns are highly regarded as honest and hard working people, contributing to the business and economy in Southern Florida already for a century. The museum reminds all visitors about the legacy of everyday heroes behind the Freedom of Finns and independence of Finland.
The Price of Freedom Museum Inc. operates under the section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954, and supports a wide variety of charitable, educational, scientific, and literary projects. We gladly accept donations to support our existence and operations.
